I was watchin gthis show at my cousins house?
but i dont know what it was called! it was yesterday at maybe 4-6 o clock it was about wwII but it wasnt like a commentary it was like a movie. it showed and american squad with tranks and then a german tank appeared out of the hay and then the battle started. i really thought that was interesting does anyine know the name of the movie/show? what station was it on? i looked at some clips in youtube and i liked it. would walmart sell the seasons (if thats what they call it) The show was called "Band of Brothers" an HBO mini-series based on Stephen Ambrose's book by the same name. History Channel bought the rights for the series from HBO and "cleaned" it up by removing the "f" word and some of the most graphic scenes. So you (and I) watched it on the History Channel.
BTW, all of the scenes depicted, including that tank scene, actually happened to the company of soldiers involved. The author spent over a year interviewing the surviving members of the 101st Airborne Div to get the details right. Why not call your cousin and ask? That would be the best solution. It was on PBS. Show was "The War." band of brothers - awsome series!!! I bought the dvd set for 50 dollars 10 disc set umm... i looked it up and hersa what i found:
