i heard about it on youtube? i hear its gonna be about ariels mom. is this true?
Answers: The story line is that we will see things beofre Ariel met Eric and that we actually see Ariel's mom (voiced by Sally Field)
John Lassiter had hoped to get it out this year, but it looks like a Spring release.
it is also direct to DVD and will be the LAST title of this nature. Disney has decided that it is just too much work to do it this way I don't know. I never saw Little Mermaid 2. I find that animated sequels almost always seem pretty forced. They might be satisfactory for 3 year olds though. OOOH!I thought is already came out. woops!
I generally hate sequals to disney princess movies. They are terrible! They destroy the first movie just so that they can make another one. I mean, Why??
Doesn't anyone realize that it is just impossible for Cinderella's past to never had happened?? And since whould the Dtep-Mother turn both of her daughters into maids?? The reason why Cinderella was a maid was not becasue they needed one but because she was prettier than the other two girls. If the mom wanted her daughters to be better than her, why would she make them maids?
Disney sure did go down-hill... Yes in The Little Mermaid Special Edition DVD it said something about it but it didn't say when, but it should be out sometime next year. Maybe yes. Just do the waiting stuff..
