Ok, my 6 year old has a question. He wants to know why Pinocchio wears white gloves. I have no idea how to?

Answers: So he wouldn't give you splinters when he hugged you Because that's the way the cartoonists at Disney drew him. It's artistic license. alot of the disney movies wear white gloves (mickey mouse, goofy) because geppeto couldnt carve hands and fingers very well so he just put gloves on his puppets They had a lot of trouble drawing good animation ...so rather than his hands move and switch shape throughout the movie
they gave them gloves.......But for a kid I would just tell him they were poor and got cold easy. Maybe white gloves represent innocence as that's what Pinocchio was supposed to represent, but that's my best guess instead of the animators making them for easier drawing.
