Question:

The new Indiana Jones film comes out next year. What do you think of the first three.?

My fav indiana jones film is the last crusade with sean connrey

Answers: i love them all but like you i loved the last crusade! i like the last part wherein they were actually going to get the holy grail!! so cool! Hi I like all the Indiana Jones films didnt know there was a nother one coming out.

It is my birthday today.

Edit: thanks medusa1, Robert and Bag for saying happy birthday to me. I liked the first one best. I have to say though that I'm not that keen to see the new one. I think the charming action hero got more tedious as the films rolled on.

...and many happies to testy! I loved them! Remeber being very scared watching them as a youngster, but now I think they are great! The only adventure films I will watch.

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you! Like them all.
Didn't know bout the new one, thanx 4 letting us know.

PS Happy Birthday testyzozo!!!:) i liked ark and crusade more than temple to be honest but the best has to be crusade with sean Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first and best in the series. While the sequels are good, they didn't top the first one for me.

Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade had way too much comedy and silly moments in it (just why does the Nazi pilot crash his plane into the tunnel while pursuing Indiana Jones and his father?)

I am hoping that the new one will be good, but Harrison Ford is an old man now and is really way too old to be beating up guys half his age. Hands down, without a doubt, Raiders was the best. The movie is flawless. Temple of Doom got ragged on, but I like it. Weakest of the three, and definitely the darkest, but still good, although Kate Capshaw's character got on my nerves, and there really wasn't any archeology involved. Last Crusade was an improvement, and I loved the backstory of Young Indy. Still not as good as Raiders, though.

By the way, Karen Allen is going to be back in this one, thank goodness. They wanted Sean Connery to do it, and he said he would really love to do another Indy movie, but he's enjoying his retirement too much. I loved "The Temple of Doom" just because it has "Data" from "The Goonies" in it haha. I also thought it had the best action and it didn't drag on, I'd say all 3 were awesome, I just hope the new one is up to par with the first 3. I'm glad to actually have a reason to go to the movies now. Seems today there's nothing but crappy remakes and prequels and all this nonsense. It'll be nice to bring back Indy for one last film (or two) just give us any distraction from the mess we're in today. I know I'll be thrilled and I don't think we have to worry about it getting bad reviews. I don't think a film with George Lucas' backing ever did poorly. I just hope it isn't overly CGI to the point where I lose interest. Keep it simple and keep it classic, just like this series is. And for the one poster above who called Harrison Ford an old man, shame on you! For being as old as he is, he can still kick @ss! Yes - I agree, The Last Crusade is my favourite too - with Sean Connery, Denholm Elliot and River Phoenix. The Last Cruisade is my favorite too. I also liked Raiders, but I didn't like Temple, it seriously freaked me out. I also thought it was a little off track from the others. In the others, the Nazi's are the bad guys and the women aren't COMPLETELY helpless.
I don't have high hopes for the new one. I was surprised they cast Shia Lebuff as his protege. I wish they would have got someone a little more manly.... I like all three but preferred Raiders:

I await Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with anticipation, I only hope thy don't rely on too much CGI like they did with the more recent Star Wars trilogy. i love these films, raiders of the lost ark was my favourite and if it's true that karen allen is going to be in the fourth i'm glad, really like her. it's a pity we won't have denholm elliott or river phoenix this time, he could have carried on where harrison ford left off. and harrison ford may be getting on in years but he's still got it! have any of you seen his stunt double for the movies, he's like his twin!
