Has anyone noticed...?!

Question:

Has anyone noticed...?

Anytime there's a tale about urban kids bringing in an oustider through dancing, it's always a black male and a non-black female. Not trying to make it racial but couldn't help but notice that... Remember "save the last dance", and "save the last dance 2", and there were atleast two more movies with the same bloody premise, and J Lo has one in the works called "bring the noise" or something like that. How come its never the other way around where it a girl of color and a caucasian male... Not like it makes a difference either way because they're usually just fluff movies that suck but I was just wondering...

I get the "white people can't dance and black people have rhythm" stereotype but how come it's always a black guy and a white/ latino girl? I know that I guess black guys and non black girls are the more prevalent stereotype but it's been done to death! Why not flip it around? The last movie we had like that was "Something New", no dancing just a black woman with a white man. The other way just gets old... and you would think it's about time to do something new, no pun intended

Not that it is any consolation to you, but I'm a white male, and my girlfriend is black. well people make movies the way they want, and there are a lot of people go and see them. why can't they have a dog and a cat dance? uhmm wonder if that would be a hit?
In my life and going to school when i was younger African Americans got more rhythm.. It's a stereotype that white males can't dance and black people are good at hip hop/breakdancing. It's a stupid stereotype, but it's there.
