The talks in London break down. What was the point of disagreement?
I have totally missed this point entirely so could someone please tell me.
Answers: the point of disagreement was the existence of a large Muslim minority within India. The British used the "we need to make sure we protect them from being oppressed by the Hindu majority" as an excuse to keep India as a colony. Thus eventually led to the partition in 1947 that created India and Pakistan and killed a great deal of people. Source(s):
