Why do some English Movies comes with English Subtitles?!

Why do some English Movies comes with English Subtitles?
Why would anyone need english subtitles for english movies?
I have seen many of them. don't you think it's bit strange? or there is a reason behind it?
Answers: It's for those who cannot hear well. My dad has trouble hearing high pitches, he'll put on the english subtitles so he doesn't miss anything. For the hearing impaired. For the hearing impaired. Also, we have an Au Pair from Brazil. She likes the English Subtitles so she can follow along and help her learn the language I'm glad they do though cause I hate those movies were the music and explosions are so loud but you can barely hear the dialogue. I'll be sittin there with the kids asleep and all the sudden BOOMMMM!!!!! CRASHHHH!!!! ZOOOMMMM!!!! I'm like holy sh!te! My kids wake up and everything.
Man I hate that. So I just started turning on the subtitles since I can barely hear the dialogue anyway. Because even some English-speaking accents are almost impossible to understand (i.e. a farmer from Yorkshire);
also, those for whom English is a 2nd language
