Question:
If you have read harry potter books, answer my question.who thinks that the harry potter movies will be rated R
Answers: hmmm... i dont kno
the 7th book was a lil dark and more mature
i think it could be no pg13 but the last 1 could me r they were getting hard So far, they aren't. With the large teen audience for the books, I can't imagine the studio would put them out with anything but PG/PG-13. they are PG 13. Although I think that some parts of them should be R rated. It's not something I would let just any kid watch. They are PG13 but I think they 're working their way up to R slowly which will stink, or they could cut out parts but then the movie would stink i think the last one will be Never. R rated movies generally don't make money. The audience for Harry Potter is middle-schoolers and high schoolers. Many director's contracts stipulate that the movie released will receive a PG-13 rating.
The books are getting darker, but I don't think they really rate R - there is no nudity, no terrible images, no language, although there are some nasty fights. I'll admit a LOT of people ended up getting killed in the 7th book of the series, but since when did murder and death warrant an R rating in this day and age? Usually it's only sex acts that get an R rating, and since there is none of that I'm predicting PG-13 at most. And of course that is assuming they don't remove a ton of the book's content (which they certainly would) so I'm sure the movie version will be less dark then the book was. i really don't think so. the movies are supposed to be for families to watch together but they are getting darker. the last 2 or 3 movies were PG-13 but i really doubt they'll turn R. Well even though the 7th one is kinda . . . well you know . . . I dont think even then it would be R no way will that ever happen. the majority of their audience is under 17, and plus, i don't think j.k rowling would ever want to take it that far and rate the movies R.
