Question:
Besides The Good The Bad and The Ugly, What is the Best Western movie?
In your opinion.
Answers: Once upon a time in the west! by sergio leone Unforgiven modern A River Runs Through It Tombstone....hands down. tombstone I couldn't say. John Wayne, Eastwood, Bronson- so many others have done so well!
But... I guess I'll say, " Once Upon A Time In The West" >You're in luck! I happen to be staying in a Best Western (just outside of Cleveland) tonight...the movie I'm watching is (yet another) rerun of "Blazing Saddles".< any thing with john wayne hang'em high Young Guns 1 & 2 Blazing Saddles!!!!!! tombstone of course!!!! Legends of a Fall tough call, the searchers, stage coach, red river, high noon and the great train robbery are all great and important films of the western genre, but me personally i like tombstone, true grit, and the cowboys the unforgiven is the best. calibrated action, suspenseful, a thinking man's cowboy movie. They Call Me Trinity and/or Trinity is Still My Name.
Cat Ballo is pretty good too. I like "Unforgiven" and "Tombstone." Unforgiven, and for all who haven't seen it yet.......3:10 to Yuma. I'd have to agree with most of the people above, and say Unforgiven. I also really liked A Fistful of Dollars, Pale Rider, and Open Range. The Magnificent Seven! Who can resist Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson and the best villian Eli Wallach? Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid
High Noon
Unforgiven
The Wild Bunch
Fistful of Dollars
