Has anyone seen "Plan 9 from Outer Space."?!

Question:

Has anyone seen "Plan 9 from Outer Space."?

I saw a movie years ago....rented it on VHS...thought it was hilarious....sadly, haven't seen it since....stars Bela Lugosi..."Plan 9 from Outer Space." It was his last film before he died.
What do you think of it? Do you know where I can rent a copy on DVD?

Answers: I especially like the scene where Lugosi walks out of his house and walks down the street. The voiceover tells you what happens but the sound effect of the car hitting him just cracks me up. This is one supremely bad movie. I checked and it's available from Netflix, Blockbuster, Hollywood Video and most places for sale. I thought the movie was so poorly made that it was hilarious although it was probably suppose to be a drama. You could probably rent it on DVD but I don't know for sure. Actually, Bela's appeareance was because Ed Wood had some extra footage. The rest of the time, it's a man who looks nothing like Lugosi, meandering around with his arm held up so that the cloak will mask his face.

Yes, it's an hysterically funny, awfully bad film. But, listen to some of the dialogue and narration about the Air Force and UFOs. You might be very surprised what Ed got away with saying about the military!

It's not the worst film ever made, not if it's that amusing. Sure, there are some less-funny portions, but I find myself giggling an awful lot. What was said about the unseen accident is true! It's like the sound effects on Sixties singles such as "Leader of the Pack"!

Practically anyplace should have it for rent.

It's worth watching even a couple of times just to be able to be in on the joke, whether you join its cult following or not. Surely, you'll enjoy Tor Johnson and Vampira!
