last nite i watched westside story for the first time, i found the story powerful and the message ageless, does anyone else think it would make a good modern day movie?

westside story is based off of romeo and juliet.
so there in itself is a remake
and plus musicals like that wouldnt go over well with this generation NO....NO...AND NO AGAIN that would be great. the old version turned out kind of cheesy. if they redid it with a great cast... that would be the best
