I am wanting to get the full series of the halloween movies and I don't know if this is part of the series or not.

The halloweens really arent a typical series. They are just a group of movies with Mike Meyers as the killer except 3 which for some reason they felt like making a movie about masks.
It was stupid!! Halloween 3 is not a part of the Michael Myers storyline. The newest Rob Zombie version is a remake of the original. Other than that they are all loosely connected. Not so much by story but only by Michael Myers. Halloween 1, 2 and H20 go together with the Jamie Lee Curtis character Laurie Strode.
