Answers: Who played their respective parts better? Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) or Christian Bale (Batman Being)? I know most are probably gonna say Bale. But I thought Routh was great as Superman. He just had very BORING script to work with. Movie was so dull!

But anyway, who played their part better?

Even though Batman was a better movie and Bale was excellent in it, I am going to have to say Brandon Routh.

He was given the task of playing Clark Kent just like Christopher Reeve. And he succeded. Its hard to play any role properly, and I would imagine trying to be exactly like someone else is hard to do.

I have seen Bale in many movies, and in almost all of them he has certain traits that he portrays in every movie he is in. Kind of like Sean Conery. No matter how much you like him, he is Sean Conery in every movie he is in (Red October anyone?).

I would have to say that Bale captured the torment and lonliness of Bruce Wayne 100% better than Brandon Routhe did for Superman!
