Good vs. evil, man vs. the forces of nature

The shark isn't evil! The shark is doing what sharks have done for millions of years: swim, eat and make little sharks! Man foists the notion of evil on carnivores an awful lot! After all, people are going into the water~the shark's domain. Oh sure, the shark attacks the boat, which was rather out there but acceptable if they view the shark as the devil or some such dark force.

Look at Disney cartoons: herbivores, good; carnivores, bad! Herbivores have speech and make friends; carnivores grunt, snarl and generally make nothing but threats when they DO talk! That seems to range from prehistory to Africa.

As for Christian elements in "Jaws", I can't say that I see anything. It's man vs. nature.
