I want to see a really Classic movie, can someone suggest a really good one to s!

Question: It depends how far back you want to go.A true classic i think you might enjoy is ''Breakfast at Tiffany's'' with Aubrey Hepburn.(Fun and light hearted)
You could also try an Alfred Hitchcock thriller if that is your scene.
What about Marlon Brando's ''streetcar named Desire''?
or Marilyn Manroes ''Gentleman prefer blonde's''?
I know you like animals so then how about ''The incredible journey"" or even a classic cartoon like ''Bambi''?
Hope i helped.

Casablanca is probably the most accessible classic movie I've seen. To this day I still find little jokes that make me laugh, and it has the most famous lines in a single movie, by far.
Casablanca or since Christmas is coming, It's a Wonderful Life
Try Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, Giant, Citizen Cane, The Godfather, Papillon, The Great Escape, Ben Hur, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Maltese Falcon, My Fair Lady, The Pink Panther, A Place in the Sun, Psycho, Singin' in the Rain, The Sound of Music, Midnight Cowboy, Judgement at Nurembergh, Sounder, Easy Rider, The Graduate, It's a Wonderful Life, The Days of Wine and Roses, Lawrence of Arabia, ..the list is endless!
Comedy; i sugest, Father Goose with Cary Grant
Heaven Knows Mister Allison with Robert Mitchum
mister roberts with Henry Fonda
Dramas;
old sinatra flics, Robin and 7 Hoods
Bridge on the river Kawi
Old John Wayne movie like Stagecoach, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, The Seachers
sex movies! Brando in the Last tango in Paris..
Sci-fi of course the 6 movies of Star Wars..
Animated! Lady& Tramp, Jungle Book, Lion king
lots to choose from!!ETC.
the best one for me is
Gone with the Wind, with Olivia De Havilland & Clark Gable!!
THE BLACK BOOK
The Godfather, obviously
Sure! (I love them.)

"Casablanca". (Ingrid Berman, Humphrey Bogart)
"The Philidephia Story" (Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, James Stewart)
"Adam and Eve" (Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy)
"It Happened One Night" (Clark Gable, Claudette Colbert)
"Born Yesterday" (Judy Holliday,Wiliam Holden, Paul Douglas)
"Sabrina" (Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, William Holden)
"The African Queen" (Katherine hepburn, Humprey Bogart)
"Night Passage" (Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall)
"Mr. Deeds Goes To Washington"( James Stewart)
"Meet John Doe" (Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck)
"Roman Holiday" (Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn)
"My Fair Lady" (Rex Harrison, Audrey Hepburn)

I have many, many more. (There are wonderful classic westerns, too.)

And a bunch of my favorites, only slightly more contemporary:

"Guess Who's coming To Dinner" (Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Sidney Poitier)
"In The Heat Of THe Night" (Sidney Poitier, Rod Stieger)
"The Man In The Grey Flannel Suit" (Gregory Peck)
"TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD" (Gregory Peck)
"Friendly Persuasion" (Gary Cooper, Dorothy MacGuire)
"The Long Hot Summer" (Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward,
Orson Welles, Anthony Franciosa,Lee Remick)

Anything; anything AT ALL with: ELIZABETH TAYLOR, or PAUL NEWMAN, or GARY COOPER, or CARY GRANT, or AUDREY HEPBURN, or HUMPHREY BOGART,or KATHERINE HEPBURN.

Boy, they really knew how to make MOVIES !

This was FUN! Thank you! }:>
When Harry Met Sally.
I have always had a fondness for "Tammy and the Bachelor".

Debbie Reynolds did a great job and beleive it or not Leslie Nielsen was actually young once. LOL.

Plot : When Pete's plane crashes in the swamp, he's rescued by young Tammy, an unsophisticated backwoods girl who lives with her lay-preacher-***-moonshiner grandfather. When Pete's well, he goes back home to his fiancée. But then Grampa gets sent to jail and he sends Tammy to stay with Pete. At Pete's house, Tammy's home cooking, enthusiasm and quaint sunshiny personality bring about changes in Pete's family and in Pete himself.
