What is the BEST horror movie?!

Question: I'm attending my friend's birthday party, and we need some good horror movies. Not "House of Wax." Not "The Ring." Not "Hostel." Not "The Grudge." Not "Chucky. " =( We're all around 19 years old, so a good 'ol scary R movie would be nice. It could be classic or relatively new, as long as it's good. Don't mention "Saw" either b/c my friend doesn't like that one..

Definately check out Scream by Wes Craven(or anything by wes craven), or the hills have eyes remake. I've recently seen 28 weeks later and it was very good and creepy at some parts. There's also The Texas chainsaw massacre: the begining which is pure violence and gore.
