just for the blood and gore. I'm a big horror fan and have seen and read tons, so I watch horror movies to see the new ways they come up with dismembering a body or a monster chomping down on someone.

My boyfriend likes them because "a lot of the time aside from being visually interesting and creative, they take on serious political and social topics. Oh, and I hate people, so watching them get cut up is cool."

I like the excitement feeling. You know the one thats over you when you see a police car behind you with the lights on. Then when it comes to be on the edge of your seat and jump up a little. Man, that is a great feeling.

its all about adrenaline. its fun to be scared. after you jump, you laugh at you and your friends reactions. and previews to movies are often much different from the actual movie, so don't psyche yourself out.

Because they are the only ones I find entertaining. There is blood, gore, and suspense (most of the time). Romance movies bore me, action movies are too manly for me. The only other genre I watch is comedy from time to time.
