Whats the best Doris Day Movie?!

Question: There are so many, but I think my favorite is "That Touch of Mink". I love when she goes shopping for her new outfits. Oh and when she gets drunk with the bottle stuck on her toe is too funny.

There are so many, but I think my favorite was "The Glass Bottom Boat". Made me laugh so much.
The Man Who Knew Too Much

I think she did well in this very serious and gripping Hitchcock film. And of course, she did get to sing a song at the end!
Pillow Talk, With Six You Get Eggroll and My Favorite Wife aka Move Over Darling
Lover Come Back!

God, I love all the Doris Day movies...That Touch of Mink, On Moonlight Bay, By The Light Of The Silvery Moon, Romance On The High Seas, My Dream Is Yours, Calamity, Midnight Lace....just all of them!

Thanks for asking a Doris Day question, I LOVE her!!!
a real old one called the "lullaby of broadway." just one old guy's opinion i talked with. i saw it and i think i understand. things were different then. personally, she was not my favorite. she sang too much in movies. that was the thing then. nobody does that now. must have come from vaudeville days. it would be a big joke today or even 20 or more years ago. they don't play them late at night on satellite tv or anywhere. so there you are. but i did like her sing in "lullaby of broadway."
Dont eat the Daiseys
I haven't seen many of her movies but my fave is "Please Don't Eat the Daisies".
That Touch of Mink.... her only starring role with the great Cary Grant
"Midnight Lace" with Rex Harrison and Roddy McDowell.
The Man Who Knew Too Much
Calamity Jane
The Man who Knew too Much
Pillow Talk
in that order
My fav is "The Thrill of It All" a funny...no, very funny movie about the wife of an OB/GYN doc (played superbly by James Garner) who becomes a commercial spokeswoman for "Sweetheart Soap." It's the film where Doris looks into the camera and says, "I'm Beverly Boyer, and I'm a pig!"

The movie was written by Carl Reiner (who has some hilarious cameoes) and spoofs TV, commercials, and 50's culture in general. It's really a scream!

Try it, you'll like it!
The Man who knew too much - Alfred Hitchcock with james Stewart (she sings Che sera sera in it)
