Lock Stock was a great film but i've just seen This is England... that was good too...
you picked a good one, however, i would go with two others, The Great Escape and The Italian Job.
Top quality choice. Phil Daniels eh? Quadrophenia to Eastenders. Now that would make some "Career Flow Chart".

Over the years there have been some absolute stoaters of British movies.

Mine is "Local Hero", one of the most beautifully shot movies and absolutely wonderful.

Second is "The Long Good Friday" followed by "Whisky Galore"

Other gems include most of the Ealing Comedies
Full Monty or going back to black and white days..Oliver Twist directed by (I think) David Lean. War films... Battle of the River Platte NOT One wedding and four funerals or is it the other way?
Four weddings and a funeral after Quadrophrenia. Did you know that the hairdressers was on Essex Road, Islington. It's now a pie and mash shop. Great film, good taste!
