Imax or not?!
Question: hello there quick question for the technology pros or whom ever is familiar with imax. my 8yr. old wants to see transformers in imax all i know is that the film will be larger than the "regular" movie, can one please explain the difference or the "experience" to me. My son is really excited about this.

I don't really care for the IMAX unless it's 3-D. The picture is so big that not only is it overwhelming to the eye, but you can see every flaw in a character's face.
That being said, the audio quality is fantastic. But more that that you're son will be so excited he's there none of that stuff will matter to him.
So pay the extra bucks and let him enjoy.
the imax has a much much larger screen and it makes you feel right up in the action!
i like it alot, but sometimes it isn't worth the extra money.
sometimes they have special 3D movies on the imax and those are like way amazing!
Imax isnt really worth it i mean its just a bigger screan... and for the moive Transformers THATS NOT A GOOD THING ive seen the moive 2 times on in the front row and another time in the back when i saw the movie in the front row i HATED IT the moive is shot too close for the fighting scense and the end just gets you Dizzy... i saw it again in the back row and the movie was a little better still everything was shot to close i mean there giant robots and the cammera is like 5 feet back... i wouldnt see it in imax i think another movie is a better idea
