Answers: Snuff films like the ones portrayed in the movie really exist? I know that their are child porn snuff films but are their really snuff films of humans being brutally murdered? It was a twisted movie and so I was just wondering if crazy stuff like that really exist?

Yeah.. snuff films were big in the late 70's and early 80's (you know, when horror movies became box office sellers).

Anyways, doesn't snuff mean, killing a person during a real movie, like Halloween or whatever. I thought the video in Vacancy was just a psycho killing people while video taping the horrible acts, like most serial killers probable do.

Yes it's real, most of the time it's all just acting, but there are a few snuff films out there where they actually kill the person. The snuff films that have real deaths cost alot of money and are usually made for one certain person who pays around $10,000 per movie. Even the ones where it's all just acting can range into the thousands. It's very very sick.
