Who do you think should play the Queen in the new Wonder Woman movie? A better a!

Question: I think Lynda Carter should play the queen. She is after all the Wonder Woman most of us remember. It would be like passing on the tiara, braclets, and magic lasso to a new "hero"

I'm not sure if I can give a better answer than yours because I actually agree with you, but from this picture:

I thought about Elizabeth Taylor, but she might now be too old to play the part...

And then I found this information about an animated version of Wonder Woman:

and since Susan Sullivan did the voice of Queen Hippolyta and is a bit of a grand dame herself, she would be another choice. But I still agree with you on Lynda Carter.
That would be cool...I agree Lynda!
some homage to Lynda Carter needs to be made.
Elton John
Ricky Martin is a close second
Rosie O'Donnel

I didn't hear about this movie
I still haven't seen a satisfactory replacement for her as Wonder Woman. *sigh*

As far as her being Queen Hypolite, not a bad idea. I would rather see her being Diana and pass the lasso on to a younger woman. Say she lost her immortality when she married a mortal man. That's why she aged.
The queen of what exactly? Is she going to be a "Bad guy" or the one to pass her knowledge on to the next Wonder Woman? If it's a "Bad Guy" role, I'd say maybe Kathleen Turner- her voice is awesome. For the "Good Guy" role, I'd have to agree with Lynda Carter. She'd be the most logical person.
I can't think of anyone better, but I will give you a star.
That's about as good as it would get.
If not Lynda Carter, Another very strong candidate for the Queen (that would be Wondaer Womans mother, not the villian) would be Lucy Lawless. She's older, but very youthful (by Older, I mean not in her 20's) so she could pull off being a immortal, yet still be a mother. I know many people want her in the role of WW herself, but she has said she has no interest in THAT role, so, maybe a mother who is CAPABLE of kicking some arsk but prefers the intelectual approach would be the perfect role for her.
