I was stoned when I saw the movie and got really excited when Willie Nelson talked about Pot Fest. I assumed it was a serious thing and that possibly production had already begun on the movie. After doing a little research, it turns out that line was intended to be a joke. However, after frequently being asked about Potfest creators, Broken Lizard said they have been seriously considering a Potfest. After all, these are the guys that brought us Supertroopers, so weed is not new territory for them. I read an article (link provided below) that suggests making an R-rated animated feature.

Mainstream films that glorify weed are a good thing, perhaps they will shift the public opinion and push us closer to full legalization. Wouldnt that be nice?
