Answers: I just got done watching 1408 with John Cusak and Samuel L Jackson and I am very confused. I have no idea what I just saw. Can anyone explain it to me?

I've seen the movie 5 times and what is it exactly you need to know?

The writer entered a room with realistic evil paranormal entities. They tried to drive him insane to kill himself. They even went so far as to make him think he was out the room and that the room was a dream during the time he was knocked out trying to surf. The room also brought the spirit of his daughter back to tease him. He wised up, and defeated fire with fire. The spirit was alive with the room, and when he burned it down, it died with the room, "supposedly".

The recording at the end is proof that the room was real and the spirit of his daughter was actually with him in the room.

I Loved That Movie! Once he was in the room to prove to ghost rumour false, he could never escape. For a few days, he had believed he escaped but he was still stuck in the room forever. When he burned it though, that is what finally made it stop....unfortunatly he is now stuck in there as a ghost.
