Any Comments about the movie 300?!

Question: As Far as I as a Persian, am concerned the movie was appreciable in animation and special effect sense (which was probably done by the Hollywood animator Mr. Habib Zargarpour who happens to be Persian as well) However the movie lacked an appropriate source of information, sort of thing that can happen only in process of recycling information in benefit of opponent because of the current dilemmas that the west has with Persia (Present Day Iran).
For example Everyone knows that Greeks were into believing in numerous Gods but in the movie 300, Xerxes (The Persian King) is a god who makes troubles for the 300 Spartansin and their King Leonidas (The Greeks) in the Battle of Thermopylae, or another example is that The Persian Empire was so vast (Size of a current continent) that it is nonsense to show that 300 regular Solders, not even gods, could outfought it.

I thought it was a well thought out movie you go through so many emotions. It isn't really a history lesson but it does shine a little light on back then and the animation was okay but in some parts you could tell a little bit but over all it was good
one word: BADASS!!!
The movie is not directly based off of actual historical events... it is based off of a graphic novel and that graphic novel is loosely based off of history. The author took many liberties with the subject matter and Hollywood did the same thing. Sensationalism sells and many would say that 300 was just that... though I'm one of the few who doesn't think it is a great movie at all... I found it ok.
Awsome action movie great special effects.
A- for cinematic excitement

D- for historical accuracy.

Now it is true that the Spartans fought the Persians to a standstill on the first two days (although there were more Spartans than shown), but the truth is the Persians had never fought a foe with such tenacity as the Spartans.

The persians were soundly defeated at marathon and 11 years later again soundly defeated at Plataea
While I'm not really sure about what you're ranting about... I just want to say that Spartans didn't outfight the Persians. They died! But the point (at least to me) was just that they brave and "few stood against many."
This movie has historical errors galore. If you are Iranian, you surely know how Persians really dressed; Xerxes was not a nearly nude, bald giant with face piercings; and that the 10,000 Immortals wore veils but were not freaks in Halloween masks. It did not show the greeks correctly either. Darius III was the real giant among shahs of Persia. He lived 150 or so years after Thermopylae and fought Alexander the Great. 7000 Greeks were really at Thermopylae. Herodotus says Xerxes had 1,700,000 soldiers with 3,300,000 attendants. The Greeks did hold the Persians back 3 days. 300 Spartans were overwhelmed by the Persian horde, but they gave a good account of themselves. Man-for-man, a Spartan could beat 3 or 4 Persians. They were bred for strength and trained from childhood to be the world's toughest soldiers. It is recorded that Greece did win this war later at Plataea and Mycale. Persia was conquered by Alexander of Macedonia who united Greece.
