No, i think he fitted the character perfectly.. He had that lost, confused, slightly nervous look that I'd expect on Ron's face... his expression showed perfectly how someone could be very afraid and yet very brave.

I dislike the character and the actor intensely. Actor?! He's not an actor. Actually, I don't think any of the three leads qualifies as an actor. They've had three films to learn, and they still rely on the same old tricks though they're beginning to look long in the tooth for those roles.

As you can see, I am no fan of the films. The only reasons I tune in are Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman, Tom Felton, the settings and sets. I do like Maggie Smith, but she's done far better work, as has Richard Harris and other old-timers in the cast.

Ron/Rupert is especially irritating.
