Yes you should watch it, just so you can make up your own mind about it.
Also, can't believe that no-one on here mentioned the soundtrack!
Tarantino has the most amazing knack of finding these little forgotten gems of songs and placing them just perfectly into his movies.

Hugely over rated. Ok, but not great.

cause it's all about the dialog. best movie ever. and everytime they show the time it's 420. see it already! great soundtrack too.

I like it. It's got a good plot and it's interesting how the scenes jump around. If you are into movies at all, you should see it.

Uhm, NO! Obviously it's NOT worth watching because SO MANY PEOPLE like it so much! LOL! ;P Okay, I'm being sarcastic but "HELLO" ;)

This has been on tv a thousand time go get a copy NOW!

I loved it.

If you like movies from quentin tarantino & actors john travolta & uma thurman than you must watch it.

its good but not great.

hated it

Although I don't think it is the best Tarantino movie, I love it. The dialog, storyline, casting, acting, editing, all of it is wonderful. You can see the influence it has had on the movie industry in other films.
If you haven't seen it, check it out. It is definitely worth watching.

Fi99 - Pulp Fiction is DEFINITELY worth watching!

Be aware, however, it is not a movie for kids or the easily offended - it contains a lot of violence, swearing and drugs.

I've seen it once. I personally didn't like it, but I get to say I've seen it.

Wow. Am I getting old or what?

Pulp Fiction introduced the world at large (who hadn't already seen Reservoir Dogs) to Q.T.'s non-linear way of storytelling. Personally I thought it was overrated then and it's overrated now, but it should be on anyone's "Must See" list of movies from the 90s.

Brilliantly written.
Brilliantly directed.
Brilliantly acted.

Love the way the independent stories all tie together at the end.

1. John Travolta's comeback.
2. The quarter pounder with cheese is called a Royale with cheese in Paris.
3. The Bonnie Situation
4. Zed's dead baby.
5. Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face
6. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my *** for two years. And now, little man, I give the watch to you.

Muchly overrated, but a great, fast script.

I think the fact that it was John Travolta's "comeback" was a lot of hype as well.

well,if you don't like tarantino,it probably won't win you over.i thought "True Romance had a better script, but Tony Scott directed it.'Natural Born Killers ' was taken away by oliver stone, quention only got a 'story by' credit.'Resevoir Dogs' was a school project tha t was remade on the cheap, but is well written and acted.so 'pulp fiction' was Q.T.'s 1st chance to really shine, amd he threw everything but the kitchen sink in;almost all his ideas of the previous 5 years, and (ahem) borrowed some of his buddy's ideas too.but there are classic, unforgettable scenes like travolta and thurman dancing, her being revived from an overdose;and classic lines like 'they call it a burger royale' and 'i wanna walk the earth' and 'i had to go medieval on him'.give it a try.then move on to 'kill bill' volumes 1 and 2 for his real masterpieces.

It's an excellent film. If you've seen any other Tarantino movies and liked them, definitely watch Pulp Fiction. It has you gripped from the very start and is just so clever. It's one of those films that you notice something new every time you watch it. The dialogue is amazing, the acting is fantastic and the storyline(s) are just pure genius. QT's best work, I reckon! Definitely give it a look...and if by some unlikely chance you don't like it, you haven't lost anything, have you? Oh, and give the deleted scenes on the dvd a look too - they're all great and should have all been in the finished movie. There's a version of the dvd you can get which also gives you a kind of "fact track" to read as you watch the movie.
Great film!

Would have won a few Oscars but it was up against "Forest Gump". Make sure you watch the letterbox version.

Why don't you just watch it?

It is a classic. You should see it only to take an idea. And the music is great.
