Transformers was AWESOME!!!
Non stop action packed & very good special affects.
I give it Thunmbs up all around.

Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer was good too.
Though not as action packed as Trasformers it is a great movie.

Vacancy was a good horror, nothing like Saw but the thought of being spyed on at a motel I think everyone can relate to.
I laughed not beacause of acting but because I found myself talking to tv, telling them what not to do.
Same common mistakes made- like running upstairs rather than out thedoor. I t was suspenseful.

Pamela Anderson...just ask Borat.

BOrat - will make you laugh...

Transformers and Disturbia...may I also suggest renting if you havent already seen them the Saw Trilogy to get you ready for SAW IV

I just saw the Will Smith movie Pursuit of Happiness, highly recommended!

I liked Fracture - the one with Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins. It has some twists in it...AH kills his wife....blah, blah, blah...

1408 scarrrrrrrryyyyyy

2 that I liked recently: "Breach" with Chris Cooper as Robert Hanssen, the US' most damaging mole spy, and "Perfect Stranger" with Hallie Berry and Bruce Willis. Both worth the $1 Redbox rental fee :-)

Blades of Glory
Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer
Eppic Movie
Knocked Up
Transformers

The Waterboy and Meet the Parents, you won't stop laughing

Pan's Labyrinth encompasses it all-- fantasy, drama, reality and sweetness and depth

Illusionist, don't get premonition! Just a warning there :).

Tyler Perry's new WHY DID I GET MARRIED . Sorry but i do not ever tell details on a movie. It will spoil the fun

Borat really is not as funny as everyone hypes it to be. Get Grandmas Boy, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny or Clerks 2....if you dont mind lots and LOTS of cussing and drug references.

I think The Guardian with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher. It was funny, adventure and a little mushy~Perfect!

It is about the coast guard and training and how serious it is, but Ashton makes it funny and Kevin makes it a good chick flick too! Not sure what you've seen lately though, it's been out for a while now...

300 is a great action movie!! Very cool looking, too.

Pan's Labyrinth was awesome - sort of a drama/fantasy. It is subtitled (it's a Spanish language film) but don't let that scare you off.

I cannot think of any good funny movies that I've seen lately!! You can always go old school and watch Blazing Saddles. That movie always makes me laugh!

All time favorite movie... "Shaun of the Dead". It's a Rom Zom Com ... Romantic, Zombie comedy. Best movie ever.

Knocked up is funny....a little crude maybe. Synopis: A one nighter leads to pregnancy. The couple give a relationship a go. Sweet ending
One of my favorite movies is 50 first dates. Very sweet.
Scary movies would be appropriate for the pre-Halloween weekend.....
Disturbia was good. Kind of like Alfred Hitchcock's the Rear Window.
1408....not good.
The Reaping looks like a good one.....Are the signs of the Apocolypse near?
Go browse the video store, have a wonderful weekend.

Transformers...
i didnt go for the hype when it came out over the summer but my son brought a copy over yesterday and it was actually really good. Its like an overview of how the cartoon got started.

Knocked Up is pretty decent too. I didnt like the terminology in the title when it came out but it turned out to be borderline 'chick flick' once I watched it. The poor guy in it tries so hard to get the woman carrying his child to like him - its amusing to see the ends he goes to in order to accomplish that.

Weird Science ( Two nerdish boys attempt to create the perfect woman, but she turns out to be more than that) is always a good one.
Shaun of the Dead (A man decides to turn his moribund life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend, reconciling his relationship with his mother, and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living)
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (Ron Burgundy is San Diego's top rated newsman in the male dominated broadcasting of the 1970's, but that's all about to change when a new female employee with ambition to burn arrives in his office)

knocked up and countess dracula's orgy of blood

Mr. and Mrs. Smith is both action packed and funny!
lucky number slevin has a really great twist if your into the whole mob thing.
Pans Labrynth is another great one!
The Number 23 had me FREAKED OUT!! it messes with your mind!

I got a collection of movies! in Drama I'd suggest " Hollywoodland"," GIA" it's with Angalina Joline, " The Departed", Comedy you got to see " Click", " Night at the Museum" Hollywoodland is the true story of the first Superman, Gia is a true story of a Model who turns to drugs and is bysexiual, Click is so good it's about a guy that can manage his life with a remote control, like for your t.v. you got to see it!! Departed is the best moffia true story I have seen since " Goodfellows"

that all depends on the type of movie your looking for.

OK, someone recommended the movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" to me and I liked it. It has a lot of drug content, cursing and stupidity but it's funny. It's stars Benicio Del Toro and Johnny Depp and they both take a trip to Las Vegas and get really f***ed up.

Another funny movie I really like is Old School with Will Farrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn. I can never forget Frank the Tank's streaking incident!

A good drama movie is Black Hawk Down. To me, it's very intense and has a lot of action.

Funny:
Supertroopers (Vt. State Troopers vs. town cops-hilarious)
Money Pit (Young couple tortured by house)
Futurama series (pinhead guy is hero in the future)
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (MP and the King Arthur classic)
Life of Brian (a messiah doesn't want to be)
The Marx Brothers in anything

Drama/ Action:
Pan's Labyrinth (current favorite)
Don't Say a Word (complicated thief story)
Secret Window (unexpected thriller)
Sleepy Hollow (really seasonal for fall)
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Butterfly Effect (thoughtful thriller)
Donnie Darko (scary at moments, really good drama)
A Beautiful Mind (a gotta see)

For drama and comedy: Hero (Starring Dustin Huffman, Geena Davis and Andy García).
A not-so-nice man rescues passengers from a crashed airliner, only to see someone else take credit.

Only Drama: Thr3e: Innocent lives hang on the whim of an elusive psychopathic murderer whose strange riddles and impossible timelines force three people into a mission to end the game before one or all of them die.
