Diana Hyland and John Travolta had fallen in love after they worked together in "Boy in the Plastic Bubble", in which she played his mother. Actually, somewhere out there is a slender volume about their romance. I might still have my copy, as I was a fan of this actress from much further back.
By the way, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was just an extra-long video, not a movie. They tried releasing it as a short to movie theaters in an attempt to get an Oscar nomination. As far as I can tell, it did not receive a nomination.
