I really need help ?!
Question: on 11/3/06 i bought a laptop of a ebay seller i payed $1000 dollors for it and he said it will take a while to get here as its far away america , but hes now selling the same laptops for $500 i asked could i buy one of those and cancel my last order , he said he couldnt as my original lap top was in the delivery stage and wasnt in america anymore , do i have a right to cancel my order , the man is very nice to me and mails me once a month to se if i recived my item , what should i do , i have bought a cheaper laptop as well till my new one arrives but its actually agood laptop as well , im sure there is something i can do

i think you should see this guy in person. just an opinion.
Open a claim with ebay.
Unfortunately when you bid on the item you agreed to the seller's terms and if that meant no refunds or exchanges, then there's probably nothing you can do as far as the price you paid. I would just be a little wary about the delivery time if you are saying he e-mails you once a month? How long ago did you order the laptop and what time frame did the seller quote you? If he can't give you a definite time frame or it is taking much longer to get to you than he promised, I would suggest filing a complaint through e-Bay. It almost sounds like a scam to me if he is being really nice but it's taking months to deliver. Depending on the type of transaction, you may have buyers protection up to $1000.00.
sell the one you ordered from him on eBay since you already purchased another one
