Why do the vampires go to Barrow when there are a few places in the world furthe!

Question: Are these vampires biased against non-American blood?

Answers: Are these vampires biased against non-American blood?

More secluded and less people meaning less witnesses that might later talk. Did you hear when the leader of the vampires said something like they (the humans) never believed in us before so why let them start now then the vampires did what they did to try to cover up their presence. I won't say too much because I don't want to spoil it for others who haven't seen the movie yet.

I was trying to figure that out too. You would think in all the hundreds of years that they have been alive that they would have come to America sooner. I enjoyed the movie though.

The number of people in the town was obviously all they needed to sustain themselves for 30 days, but any more and it would have been more difficult for them to handle ... the secret may have gotten out.

Small population won't be missed as quickly or as much and it won't be as able to fight back. As a vampire you don't want to attract to much attention and you don't want to walk into a losing situation.
