Which horror movie should I NOT leave out?!

Question: I'm a writer and writing an article about facts you didn't know about horror movies. I'm trying to find some little known tid bits about our favorite scary movies.

Which ones should make sure not to leave out? I'm a horror movie fan myself and so far I've included: Nightmare on Elm Street, The Exorcist & Halloween.

I want to be sure to include good classic ones from the 70's & 80's plus the newer ones from 90's & 2000's.

Stephen King's IT, Carrie, or The Shining.

pet cemetery is my all time favorite!

Children of The Corn
Carrie
The Omen

The Bad Seed is a classic from the 40s! Still sends chills down my spine.

For more modern horror, I'd go with the Scream series, or the more recent Grindhouse.

Poltergeist
The Omen (old version)
The Shining

Any of the Living Dead movies (new or old) What is Halloween without some zombies

Grindhouse isn't really a horror but it's awesome.

all the dead series
night of the living dead
dawn of the dead
and other george romero movies

the saw series

Well in the new movie 30 Days of Night, the lead character Eben dies, but in the comic he lives. Not only does he live but he even gets his own 30 Days of Night comic called Eben and Stella where he turns Stella into a vampire. And they also didn't talk in a foriegn language or screetch.

Hostel
Saw (all of them)
Dawn of the Dead (new one)
28 weeks later
28 Days Later
Idle Hands

In Halloween (1978) all the leaves had gone since it was shot near the end of autumn there was no dry leaves so the crew made some from paper and collected and spread them for all the screens outside. pretty sure thats true think I heard it on the special edition dvd

Go way back to the 60's and include Night of the Living Dead. The director George A. Romero did it in black and white and scared the dickens out of everyone. Zombies!!!!!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (The Original) or Friday the 13th!

I 'd go with Halloween (new one)& Amityville Horrer also House of a thousend corps

A classic is" Psycho" (1960); "The Birds" is another one :{}

Any of the "Dracula" movies.
