What was that scary movie I saw when I was about four(1989)?!

Question: i don't remember much. i remember there were some people on a train and there was a monster in a box or something. it may not have been a box, it could have been like a standing up crate. anyways i remember the monster sticking its hand out and picking the lock with a nail or something. the power goes out on the train. it also has a scene where theres a bunch of snow and ice.

Ghost busters?

Oh wait that was released in 84....

No idea what it was but saw the same film as a kid - at least the lock picking bit. Stuck in my mind too.....weird!!

wow, that's like saying 'you know that movie? with that guy? and the music?'

mystery train?

Now you've done it. The scene from that movie is stuck in my head. I absolutely remember the one you are talking about--just not the title (it's like having Hanson MMM-bop stuck in your head--maddening). If I can figure it out I'll edit in the title.
