What's the difference between a regular move and an unrated one?!

Question: the ones i've seen look exactly the same

Answers: the ones i've seen look exactly the same

The unrated version is usually the director's cut before it is rated by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and they make them cut out certain scenes due to violence, nudity or whatever.

Some unrated versions are not that different from the original because it just might be one little thing that was added or a scene extended.

An unrated version of a film usually contains scenes or portions of scenes that were cut out of the theatrical release due to excessive violence, sex, or language.

In Brian DiPalma's movie "Scarface" it was about to get an "X" rating (Now called NC-17) for violence until he trimmed 9 seconds!

Unrated films are versions that have not been submitted to, or have not been rated by, the Motion Pictiure Association of America (MPAA)
