Saw 3 is the only film i've ever watched that made me a fel a teensy bit sick(strong stomach!). They're basically the stuff of nighjtmares, makes you wonder what of minds the scrpit writers have...
The fact that 3 people fainted whilst watch S3 made me want to watch it even more!
I like horror/suspense because for some reason, I like to be scared. Many horror movies are stupid (Firday the 13th, The Grudge, Blair Witch) but I love the Saw movies and think they're so popular cause they're not only sick and sadistic, but thought provoking at the same time.
The first Saw film was a good little horror thriller.
I haven't really enjoyed any of the sequels - all a bit too sadistic and I find the morals of all the films rather suspect.
I like horror films but these films try too hard to be clever and just look stupid and sadistic instead.
I like the way all of the films are put together. They are cleverly thought out and and fit together well to make a great story. I like the storyline of making people value their life rather than missuing it. All of the films make you think deeper into what is going on.
The deaths in the films are so weird and that puppet thing freaks the life out of me... but i've never seen a film just like the Saw series!
The story is so sick and twisted you have to think of what kind of sick person came up with it all. On the first Saw DVD there's a documentry type thing claiming parts of Saw were based on real life. I don't know why but i find some interest in this, and i don't mean that in a sick kind of way...
Because many of us like to be scared. Saw (whatever number behind it) is an example why we like Freddie, Jason and Chucky and their successes. Saw is a halloween tradition in the USA for film goers, it will survive as long as the public thrill to this movie and may continue to Saw 10
