I kind of like Fearless, acted by Jet Li. Daddy Long Legs, a Korean movie is a nice romantic story.
The Joy Luck Club is a great movie. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was a great movie as well. All of the other movies that I know are horror, so that won't help you out. You should go to Blockbuster Video and see what they have that is to your liking.
Oh, most definitely "Hero" with Jet Li, Maggie Cheung, and Tony Leung. Cinematically breathtaking in its abundant use of symbolism, color, movement, and an excellent plot. You want to talk about a great love story, Broken Sword and Flying Snow are two of the most memorable lovers I've seen portrayed on the big screen.
