High School Musical 1 and 2, and DEFINITELY the Back to the Future movies are great suggestions. I think all of the others are rated pg-13 or R.

For your tastes, here are some suggestions that are rated PG:
*The Princess Bride (hysterical &)
*The Three Amigos (classic 80's comedy)
*The Princess Diaries
*Evan Almighty
*The Chronicles of Narnia
*The Shrek movies
*Finding Nemo
*The Incredibles
*rent The Gilmore Girls (awesome, addictive show, and seasons 1-4 are pg-material, matures as the daughter gets older)
*Napolean Dynamite
*Jumanji (awesome, fun fantasy/comedy)
*The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
*Pirates of the Carribean movies (pg-13, but only for action/stuff that might scare the little ones-- no language or sexual stuff)
*The Parent Trap (my fave is the older one with Hayley Mills, but the L.Lohan one is ok)
*Clueless (might be pg-13, but pretty clean)
*Legally Blonde 1 and 2 (pg-13, but clean)
*Bend it Like Beckham (one of Keira Knightly's firsts, good)
*While You Were Sleeping (S. Bullock)
*What About Bob (omg, so funny)
*Just Like Heaven (R. Witherspoon)
*Lucas (!!!!!! such a great, great movie: Cory Haim's 1st, Winona Ryder's 1st, Charlie Sheen's 1st)

Transformers

Meet the Robinsons is an excellent movie. I'd also reccomend the Back to the Future movies (they're old, but awesome)...I really enjoyed High School Musical, and High School Musical 2.

The Lady in White

The Goonies!!!

hellboy :D resident evil 3, die hard 4.0, Bourne ultimatum, Narnia, Spiderman 3, Batman Begin, King Kong, Bedazled, apocalypto, the number 23, Lord of the ring... is it enough?:):)

LOL I think everyone has you pretty well set for movies. I recently enjoyed Evan Almighty. I've also recently enjoyed (again) The Incredibles, The Lion King, Casper, and Hocus Pocus.

High school musical 2

The Princess Bride...I think it's the very best modern fairy tale/fantasy ever! Funny, warm, and magical; it's got it all!

The Sword in the Stone...Disney's wonderful take on the first book in TE White's "The Once and Future King" about King Arthur as a boy.

For something a little old, but good, try "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" with Bing Crosby and (gorgeous) Rhonda Fleming. A film version of Mark Twain's very funny book!

All of these are comedy/fantasies. Enjoy your holiday!
