Shatner & new Star Trek movie question?!
Question: William Shatner apparently isn't going to be a part of yet another new Star Trek movie, and pal Leonard Nimoy is. Shatner has made public comments saying he should be included because of his popularity. I believe since they wrote off his character, he closed that chapter of his life, and he must simply be jealous since he can't possibly need the money.
What do you think? Should they find a way to write Shatner into the script?

No Shatner's audience doesn't see him as a Star Ship Admiral Any more. He is a Goofy Layer now that loves the women.
Chekov is the only one I think could pull it off. His new roll in Hero's is still SiFi and he does it well.

I like The Shat (he is cheese-tastic) but whining doesn't become him.....
I think that if they can write him in and make it something that adds to the story, then sure... why not?
If they just put him in there to have him in the movie, then no.
It has to be something that involves him in the story.
I like Picard more than Shatner anyway...but who knows...they killed Bobby Ewing off of Dallas and he came back claiming that it was all a dream...so it's Hollywood...anything is possible.
