Was Saw 4 a let down?!

Question: ...do you think there will be a Saw 5?

Answers: ...do you think there will be a Saw 5?

Hell no. I saw it and my only reaction to leaving the theater was "Holy ****." and "Oh my god."

I personally think it was a bit more focused on traps than the emotional aspects of Saw, but there was a HUGE psychological aspect still involved, as tradition with Saw.

I personally think that it wasn't AS GREAT as Saw II, that one being my favorite (I don't think I could top that), but it (personally) beat Saw and Saw III.

The twists in this one are EXTREMELY surprising, but be warned, you'll have to know Saw through Saw III pretty well first before watching Saw IV, or you'll be pretty confused, and you have to stay attentive during the movie if you want to know everything.

You get thrown in the action right away, with the trap that was first released from comic-con.

And, yes, Tobin Bell (John Kramer, Jigsaw Killer) has signed for both Saw V and Saw VI.

Hope this helped!

I liked it :)

I loved Saw 4 and yes, there will be a Saw 5. Go and see it, it's excellent.

I haven't seen it yet but considering how bad the first 3 were I can't imagine being let down by the series.

Yea you know there will be

no it was not and yes their will

Of course there will be a SAW V . Be ready next halloween although i dont know if i can take anymore of the various ways of torturing and killing folks.

Although I haven't seen Saw IV, I know there's going to be a 5th one. The Jigsaw guy... Toby what's-his-face was signed for 5 movies, ONLY if the first 4 movies were successful in the box-office. :) Surely, Saw IV is the top in the box office right now.

So YES, there will be a 5th one, for sure!

Now... I am off to the theaters to watch it!

yea

it was a let down.

it was more gross and disturbing than scary. but i guess thats the point of saw.

they will make a saw 5.

they did set it up for another movie.

Yes and yes. The story line left me wondering wtf was going on, the contraptions people were put in were cool in theory, but didn't gross me out like the other 3 had. The grossest part was the autopsy in the very beginning, and mainly because they just had that squishy noise up full blast!
I'm sure there will be a second, though.

not a bit

i heard 5 and 6 will come out either at the same time or back to back next year. If you think about what is going on the movie is a huge let down but if you just want to be entertained it ok.

It wasn't that bad, but considering how the sequels are going, Saw will soon rival the Halloween series

Saw 4 was good in its own way but did not fell like the old saw movies too me and a new outlook and take on the series..and yes thier is a saw 5 being written right now and 6 after that and tobin bell jigsaw is signed on to do both of them..

Agree, Saw 4 was sort of a let down.

They will definitely make Saw V and Saw VI, as both Tobin Bell (Jigsaw) and Costas Mandylor (Forensic Hoffman) have signed contracts for both movies. Saw V and VI are currently being written, quite possibly for a Halloween 2008 and 2009.

I happen to read a spreading rumor among the Saw III/Saw IV crew that Saw series will have 7 movies in total if the Saw VI performs well in box office and will stop at 6 installments if Saw VI doesn't perform well.

yes it was a letdown everything about 4 sucked.. the traps the victims no backstory on how they picked them..... jeffs daugher not in it... just was not up to the saw standards,,

spoiler

the end it never went back to the famous bathroom the only one out of the saw movies that didnt
