Halloween remake?!
Question: Just watched it and like it. It's not as good as ther original but it is close. Have u all seen it, do u agree? And also, what other remakes were u impressed/ dissapointed with?
I was impressed with the Hills Have Eyes remake. Beleive it or not, i hated the War of the Worlds remake.

Yeah.. I'm not sure many people liked War of the Worlds (Cruise-style) outside of their special effects.......
I loved the Halloween remake though - Zombie does an excellent job getting into and portraying the psyche of the primary characters - something that was 'never' touched on in the original.
You can't beat the original for.. well.. originality though. The absence of special effects made it more real - something Zombie took to heart as well - but it was still a remake.
Overall, I gave it an A+.
I liked the Hills Have Eyes remake as well - but I don't remember the original being that much of a blockbuster... maybe my expectations are too high these days.
I think the best remake to-date was Batman. Christian Bale was a great choice. I hope the sequel works out with Super-Cowboy trying to fill Jack's shoes.
i hated the war of the worlds remake, i liked the halloween remake better than the hills have eyes remake. but still, the originals are a billion times better.
