Answers: why don't the horror movie monsters like, scream, jason, leatherface, michael myers, jigsaw, and other horror movie monsters nver show there face, what do they have to hide

Well the movie makers decided to do this for different reasons. Scream (ghost face) doesn't show his/hers/there face(s) until the end of ever movie because the movie is ment to keep you guessing who the killer is. Jason doesn't show his face because its very deformed and ugly, he is probably very insecure. Leartherface also hides his face because he was born with a awful skin diease which deformed his face so he wears the faces of his victims. MIchael Myers doesn't show his face because he has an obbsession with masks, they tell you this in the remake of Halloween. Jigsaw does not wear a mask, only when he is capturing his victims so he (or his helpers) can hide there identity and don't get caught by police. What fun would it be if you know exactly what the killer looked like, I think it would take away from the scariness/creepiness. Alot of film makers say that people are more scared when they don't know what is after them because your imagination creates what this person or thing looks like.

Because if they showed their face it would make them apear more human, which means less scary.

Although they do show all of the faces you just listed, just not very often.

yo dude jigsaw did show his face..he is the old man.

jason has a f*cked up face

michael myers shown his face too..in the new one also.

scream also..at the end..

most of them showed there face..u had to catch it quick..

The reason they hide the face is cause of the "Fear Factor" some directors like to give to the audience...it also explains the reason why they have high violin music. By hiding the face the person, or audience, is scared because they may ask, "What's under the mask." Or even if it is a person at all...its just supposed to make the person feel scared...
However these types of movies the person like leatherface, michael, jason or the killer from scream. the Person is actually a mental person who is either a psycho or a person for revenge.

Hiding behind a mask makes the character very scary.
It adds suspense & terror making the character and movie more scary for the audience.

The characters you mention are living people so they are hiding their true identity from any victim lucky enough to escape or from any eyewitness, therefore avoiding capture.
