their plan is to take fractions of pennys but they mess up on the decimal point and end up taking millions.
In Office Space he steals money from his company by taking all of the pennies that are lost to rounding.
Sounds like office space, but they didn't hack into a bank, they stole money from the company they were working for.
It was also a plot point in Superman III. Richard Pryor plays some sort of natural computer genius and transfers all the fractions of a cent from wire transfers between banks into his account and makes a mint - for a while.
