Your question lacks logic.
The Vulcan time of Pon Farr, ocurring as it does every seven years, is not a time of courtship per se. It is an instinctive drive to mate, when logic goes out the window, and hormonal urges wipe out centuries of applied reasoning and logic. Unless you are interested in a true mating, ie, ravaging each other like crazed minks, etc., I would approach a Vulcan male at this time with extreme caution; you may recall a violent reaction to a dish of plomeek soup offered at the wrong time.
If you are a Vulcan female in Pon Farr, you have my sympathy, and the reminder that you probably already know what you want to do (ahem).
