Raging bull?!

Question: worth a watch or not? deciding atm. I don't really like movies with violence in them (realistic violence, not the 007 action stuff) but will put up with it if the rest of the movie is worth it.well? your opinion matters!

p.s just a random question. has anyone else got a 160G ipod that they are struggling to even remotely fill up?

Somebody has to answer this one........if you like boxing, as well as black and white films, not to mention a young Bob De Niro, go for it.

I've got a Sony/Errickson walkman phone that has more gig's than I do music. I've resorted to loading my Learn French and Dutch courses onto it !

No

Oh my gosh..."Raging Bull" is one of the greatest films ever made! You should absolutely watch it if you've never seen it. You will be witnessing a genuine classic of the cinema.

raging bull a masterpiece of a film. the scene that makes for the reality of the person who was jake la motta is the scene where di nero and joe pesci are at the ice cream van on a really hot day. di nero demands i think " yeah gimme a coke" so setting the scene for a really volatile person with no patience. its brilliant spell binding, but he was a violent man in real life its a neccesary part of the film the violence. its not violent just for the sake of it.

'Raging Bull' is critically acclaimed, brilliantly directed, beautifully photographed, expertly written... but it's still a film about an unlikeable sleazebag. Your call. (I saw it once and I won't be watching it again).
