How did the guy get rescued on Cast Away?!

Some guy Bill Clinton didn't like the name Wilson so decided to send Jason Bourne who was supposed to assasinate Tom Hanks but was halted by George Clooney who was flying a helicopter, Clooney being the man he was wanted the kill but Dennis Quad decided he was going to throw a baseball 100 mph at George thus Clooney and Bourne were elimated from the "tourney" after some thought Dennis went home after that Denzel said he was going to take a stab at it but some how Michael Richards showed up then "Kramer" was scared off by Jason Alexander's bald head and later Jason was thrown off the island by Nicolas Cage who deactivated all the bombs somehow then Sean Connery showed up and rebelled against his teammate and killed him by talking with his accent then Tommy Lee Jones showed up and dominated Connery after sometime as Tommy as king Harrison Ford returned the fugitive favor and got Tommy booted out then the master of them all Jackie Chan came but was destroyed by Clint Eastwoods sniper then the big man on campus Rambo showed up and beat everyone down and rescued Tom finally.
tom hanks' character was rescued because he decided to build a raft and get out of the island. after a long trek getting out of the big breaks on the coast, he finally got through. lost wilson and then layed on his makeshift raft until a boat found him.

I believe that he built that raft and rode out past the waves and was picked up by a boat. The movie starred Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt. Here is a little snippet about the movie:
Chuck Noland is a Fed-Ex manager who demands that everything must be on time and travels the world to make sure punctuality is on top of everything else.
