Question: it was a little boy he lived with his mother she was overwieght.. he dressed like a girl .. could see angels and went to go see the pope.. he had a little girl as a friend she was black. the tinhgs i remember is she asked "are any of the angels you see black? it was a good movie just dont know the name i hope someone nows

"Bruno" or "Dress Code".
That was a cute movie. The little boy likes to wear dresses and is friends with a black tomboy who wears pants. The mom is an overweight dress maker and the dad is a cop. They're divorced and the dad is very, very embarrassed to have a son who likes to wear dresses. Shirley Maclaine plays the dad's mom and is supportive of her grandson. The kids go to a Catholic school. One of the nuns and the boy have a discussion about his wearing a dress. The little boy just looks at the nun and tells her, "Jesus wore a dress." Of course, that sets the nun off. The little boy enters a spelling bee and wears this pink, lacy dress and blonde wig.
Like I said, a very cute movie. I'm not sure if you can buy it on DVD. Maybe at like Amazon.com. They seem to have everything.
hmmm....seems strangely familiar but i'm not sure. let me know the name of it when you find out!
All but the dressing up part sounds like "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" with Leonardo DiCaprio...
