What do Americans think of Shane Meadow's work?!

Question: Or do you not have easy access to his films over there?

Answers: Or do you not have easy access to his films over there?

I watched about half of "This Is England" on the now defunct tv-links.co.uk. It wasn't half bad--very gritty.

EDIT: I have found the rest of "This Is England" on VeohTV (requires a video player download) and am currently watching it.
Here is a link to an interesting documentary entitled "Skinheads USA: Soldiers of the Race War," which deals with many of the same themes, though on this side of the pond:

(What's with my linking to all of this neo-Nazi-related material? Time for some introspection [lol].)

EDIT 2: That last scene was intense. I just knew Combo was going to snap on that (Jamaican?) guy. I'll have to look out for Meadows' other films.

I watched some of Once Upon a time in the midlands, I liked it, this is england, and a room for romeo brass weren't half bad either.

His films haven't gotten real wide releases in America as of yet, but "This is England" and "A Room for Romeo Brass" did receive generally good reviews.
