That movie was awesome. I loved the music by Yann Tierson and the main character was fantastic because she was quirky and good natured. Super movie OK?
I adore Amelie. It's probably my favorite movie of all time.
I love the cinematography, the script, the one liners, "Fur pie doesn't sell." and the colors in the movie; especially the colors. They are so rich and vibrant, it's like your watching all this take place in a dream. I love her clunky shoes and lacy dresses that make her look like a little girl, and I love all the quirky, bittersweet characters that come together to tell the story. I also love the HUMANITY in the movie, and all the little things that people can relate to... like cracking creme brulee, skipping stones, or eating roast chicken.
I think there is so much to love about Amelie that I could never explain it in just one or two sentences. It's a movie that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated.
