What was Kurosawa's best film? What do you think?!

Question: I'd go for Throne of Blood - a reworking of Macbeth that is absolutely brilliant. Mifune plays his role with such energy and as ever Kurosawa's direction makes for a beautifully shot film. The supernatural sequences are eerily realistic, the soundtrack is pure magic and the climax is riveting even though anyone with a knowledge of Shakespeare knows what will happen.

Ran (1985). Brilliant film that when I want something that is Shakespearean and involving this is the one I reach for.
It is barely ahead of Rashomon (1950) Brilliant Film Noir written and directed by him as well.

Of those I've seen Seven Samurai .
then Rashomon
then Ran
I liked Yojimbo, Kagemusa and Throne of Blood
For some reason a friend prefered Hidden Fortress over all of those, other than Dreams it's my least favorite

Ran is really cool but The Seven Samurai is the greatest.
