The scene was cut. If you watch the deleted scenes, with the commentary on, the director said that he ended up cutting it because it wasn't needed, which his test audiences confirmed. And it was not in the original Swedish movie, nor in the script for this one. The director even said that he knew he would cut it when he filmed it, but wanted to use it in the trailer.
idk I have not seen it yet. but that could theoretically happen I guess, editing and all........
not only is he not shown in the movie i don't recall it being in the cut scenes either..it annoyed me i watched the thing twice just to see if somehow i missed the whole scene
That's not right showing something that isn't in the movie.
